My birthday!

JP took me to Maguire's for our birthday. Merit stayed with Mimi & Poppy. We had a fabulous dinner! My mom & dad fixed me & JP a birthday dinner the next night. It was really wonderful! My mom made me my favorite birthday cake too. It was fabulous! She is a great mom and a really good cook! Thank you mom & dad for making my birthday special!

Professional Photo Shoot

We took Merit to have 6 month pictures made. We definitely take plenty of pictures but thought it would be fun to have some professional pictures taken. So...Merit did a great job. He smiled and laughed the entire time. What a fun day!

Heather's little boy is due in May. Merit is looking forward to a new playmate!

We had some of our good friends over to cheer on the Baylor Bears and to celebrate Daddy's 30th birthday. Merit had a great time and stayed up way past his bedtime. I made JP's favorite cake, carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum!

Merit Eating Cookies?

No, Mommy definitely does not allow Daddy and his friends to give Merit Girl Scout Cookies. However, he would like to eat one if I would let him! As you can see, Cali would also love a bite!

Spring Break 2010

Spring Break was great! We took Merit to San Antonio to visit his Grandparents, Papa D and Grammy. He also got to finally meet his cousin, Ella Mae. This was so much fun for him! We then took him to Corpus Christi so he could meet his Great Grandparents, Grandmom and Grandad. They were overjoyed to spend time with Merit. It was a very special trip!

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day! Merit and Mommy met Mimi and Poppy for lunch and some shopping at North Park. Merit really enjoyed watching the fountain and looking at all of the people passing by. He of course wore some green so he wouldn't get pinched!

Sleepy Boy

Merit now sleeps on his tummy. He falls asleep the same way every night and for his naps too. He holds both of his snuggies and buries his face in them. He basically doesn't move all night. JP and I decided we definitely needed to capture this precious moment. We have so much to be thankful for.

Ashley's Engagement Celebration!

Holly, Jennifer, Misty, Cassie and I hosted an Engagment party for Ashley and Sam. The party was held at Tim & Holly's house. It was an evening filled with laughter, good friends and delicious food. Merit got to come too! However, he went to bed around 8:30 in Holly's bedroom. It was a great night! Congratulations Ashley & Sam!

Holly's Birthday!

We had a great time celebrating Holly's birthday. Dinner at Mi Cocina and then birthday cake at Tim & Holly's house. Merit had fun too! He loved watching their dogs. I think he thought they were there strictly for his entertainment. Holly and I have been friends for many years now. She is a very special part of my life. Happy Birthday Holly!
