Merit and I are always looking for new art projects. This beautiful art was created using our Destin sand! A little glue, sand, and food color and there you go!

- Our journey began October 2005 when we met in our Single's class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We were engaged in June 2006 and were married on November 17, 2006. JP works for ROMCO as a Product Support Sales Manager and I will begin teaching part-time for the Dallas International School in August 2011. We have one little boy, Merit Cross. God has truly blessed our family.

An Evening with Both Cuties
I got to keep these two cute boys while Alicia and Mom went to visit Dad. It was a busy but fun evening to say the least! I sure do love both of them so very much!
Aquarium Day
Mimi took Friday off and we planned a fun day for her to spend with the boys. They both had a great time at the aquarium! Merit didn't quit talking about it for days and he still talks about the various sea life that we saw!

Texas Discovery Gardens

Spring Break is Here!
We started the week with a quick trip to the doctor and running by my school to pick up some things. Merit once again has the Croup. Hopefully he will outgrow this very soon! Obviously he isn't very sick, just look at that smile.

Snickerdoodle Blondies
JP and Merit both like Snickerdoodle cookies so I thought they would definitely like these Snickerdoodle Blondies. I was right! They were a big hit! I made a few modifications to this recipe.
Modifications include:
1/2 cup coconut oil softened + 1/2 cup butter softened instead of 1 cup of butter
1 cup brown sugar + 1/2 cup Stevia instead of 2 cups of brown sugar
I also used 1 1/3 cup of white whole wheat flour + 1 & 1/3 unbleached white flour instead of
2 2/3 white flour
