Texas Railroad Museum Visit!
Saturday morning started at Debbie's house for Madelyn's 2nd birthday celebration. Debbie and Jon had a small bounce house for the kids and Merit had a great time. He really loves spending time with Ashleigh! After the party, we headed to the Texas Railroad Museum. It's in Frisco very close to the Sykes' home so it was a perfect time to visit this museum. Merit thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this visit. He was in awe of the size of the steam engine and thought it was pretty amazing. JP really enjoyed this outing too! It was a fun family adventure!

Hobby Store with Poppy & Mommy!
We spent Wednesday with Poppy this week. We started at McDonald's for an egg mcmuffin breakfast. Merit devoured his and so did Poppy. I had already eaten breakfast. :) Home Depot was our next stop, then Target, then on to the Hobby shop. Merit was completely enamoured by this place! He couldn't get enough of the train display, model cars, RC monster trucks, etc. I thought I'd never get him out of this store! We are so glad to have Poppy home!

Christmas with Poppy! He's home!
We had a special time on Saturday night celebrating Christmas with Poppy. He really liked all of the gifts we picked out for him, especially the LEGO set. Merit and Poppy worked on putting together the LEGO excavator while mom and I finished cooking the meal. It was a great evening and we certainly made some wonderful memories!
