Aunt Alicia had the opportunity to feed Merit his oatmeal when she was in town for his Dedication. He did very well for her and she was like a pro!

Hanging with Poppy

Merit really enjoys his days with Poppy. My Dad keeps Merit on Mondays. They spend time on the computer together. Poppy is teaching Merit computer skills so he'll be ahead of the game when he starts school. Poppy also teaches Merit how to do home repair type work. Poppy is a real Mr. Fix-it. I am hoping Merit takes after Poppy and not after his Daddy in this department. Daddy has many good skills but he does not enjoy home repairs/maintence issues. Poppy took this picture of Merit today. He said he pulled his hat down over his ears so he wouldn't be cold. Aunt Alicia saw the picture and said he looked like a little ganster. I think it is a precious picture. He always looks adorable to me.

4 Month Check-Up
Merit went to the doctor for his 4 month check-up. He was given his shots too. That part was not much fun. He did very well though. Merit always enjoys going to the doctor because Mimi works there. She and all of her friends give lots of love to Merit when he visits. He is quite spoiled. Merit weighs in at 14 pounds now. He is really growing! He measures tall for his age. The doctor said he has long arms and legs. Daddy was excited to hear that! Mostly though, we were happy to hear that he is healthy and growing just as he should. We are so grateful to our good Lord for Merit.

Bath Time!

Merit loves bath time. I love bath time too! Merit loves kicking his legs and splashing in the water. I have gotten to where I look forward to giving him a bath. I make sure that I bathe him when I have plenty of time. I don't want to cut bath time short. He looks so cute wrapped up tight in his bath towel. When I take him out of the water and wrap him up, he giggles. You would think he would cry because he's cold but no, he laughs. What a cutie!
