Merit got his first tooth when Aunt Alicia was here visiting. He is a tough little boy; we didn't even know it was coming in. We tried to capture the tooth by taking a picture of him laughing. You can see it a little bit in this picture. It appears as though the one next to it will be in any day now. He is really growing up fast.

Last Day of School
My last day of school was Friday. I had a wonderful year with my kids. We made so many special memories together. I feel incredibly blessed to have a job that I love so much. Daddy brought Merit to school for our end of the year party. Merit loved seeing the kids and they really love seeing him too! I'm already looking forward to next year and my next group of sweet students!

Aunt Alicia Visits Us!
Lauren & Avery
Merit was very excited about Aunt Alicia coming to stay with us. She came in on Tuesday and came straight to my school. We picked up Merit from the CLC and then had some play time at recess with my kids, Ranger and Merit. My kiddos loved meeting Alicia! At the end of the school day Alicia and I took a few of my girls to Yogurtville as a special reward. Merit had a great time being passed around by Lauren, Avery, Landry & Livvy. We took a lot of cute pictures. Alicia kept Merit all day Wednesday while JP and I were at work. She kept Merit Thursday too! It was great practice for her! We celebrated Alicia's birthday while she was here as well. Papa came over and had dinner with us. My mom made her favorite cake and I had lots of gifts for her to open. It was a special time for us. Merit says, "Thank you Aunt Alicia for keeping me while Mommy & Daddy were working. I love you!"

Playing with Mommy
I always have fun taking pictures of my sweet little boy. He is growing and changing weekly. He is crawling all over the place now; it is tiring keeping up with him. We spend a lot of time playing on the floor in his room. He loves to crawl to his toy basket and pull out his toys. He especially likes playing with the school bus toy that Grammy & Papa D bought him! What a joy he has been for me and JP. We can't seem to imagine our lives without him. Thank you dear Lord for Merit.

Papa D & Grammy's Visit!
Papa D & Grammy came to visit us last weekend. There was a corvette show held at the Dallas Motor Speedway. Merit was really looking foward to seeing his Grandparents and so were we! Papa D & Daddy got to drive on the track. What a neat experience! Merit ended up with a double ear infection which was not good timing at all. Amazingly though, he still seemed to have a great time and didn't even act that sick. We enjoyed a buffet dinner on Saturday night with the other Corvette club members and we went to Mi Cocina in Southlake on Sunday night. It was a great weekend! Thank you Papa D & Grammy. We love you!

Sisters and best friends
Merit got to spend some time with Aunt Alicia and Uncle Marc this past weekend. He really loved watching and playing with Ranger. We went on a long walk Saturday morning and then went to a friends birthday party that afternoon. Alicia helped me pick out some beautiful plants and flowers for my yard. Saturday night we went to dinner and Merit loved the chips and salsa. Ha, ha, ha! We also celebrated our birthdays. Alicia picked out so many wonderful gifts for me! Marc's birthday was Saturday and Alicia made him an incredibly delicious cake. What a great weekend! Can't wait to see you this next week Aunt Alicia! Merit is really looking forward to you keeping him while I'm at work.
