One of the DIS families invited the entire 5th grade and teachers to their home for a swim/dance party. I picked up Merit from Brenda's after I finished teaching and we headed home to get our suits on. Merit was super excited about swimming with the "big kids", as he calls them. The girls and boys were so sweet to him. They helped him get pizza, wiped his mouth and doted over him the entire time we were there. After swimming and pizza the party moved inside the house for a little dancing. Merit really loved this part! He adored the "big kids" and was really anxious to tell Daddy about the party when we got home later that night. What a great way to kick off the summer!
