My photo
Our journey began October 2005 when we met in our Single's class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We were engaged in June 2006 and were married on November 17, 2006. JP works for ROMCO as a Product Support Sales Manager and I will begin teaching part-time for the Dallas International School in August 2011. We have one little boy, Merit Cross. God has truly blessed our family.

Pretty Summer Kite Craft

I always have a ton of tissue paper! In fact, I like to keep used tissue paper so I can use it for crafts at a later time. For this kite, I cut a diamond shape out of white card stock first. I then cut a bunch of squares out of the tissue paper. Merit and I went for a blue theme with this project. I cut and he glued the squares onto the diamond. I cut a long strip of tissue paper to make the tail of the kite. It looks so pretty hanging in our kitchen window. The sunlight really makes the colors show through. This pic is kind of dark so you can't see it quite as well.
