First Pics of Baby McLain!

Tuesday, Feb. 17th was our first sonogram. I have to say it was by far one of the best days of my life. It was truly amazing to see baby McLain! Our God is an awesome God! The doctor showed up all 4 chambers of the heart, blood flowing in and out of the little body, the spine, the legs and arms and the cranial region. What a blessing that everything appears to be growing as it should be. Please continue to pray for our little one!

Asheigh Ann Sykes Dedication

We celebrated the dedication of our good friend Debbie & Jon's baby yesterday. The church ceremony was beautiful. Ashleigh was a perfect angel while up on stage. Her mom and dad looked great too! Our friend from college, Aimee, and her husband Chris, came in town for this momentus occasion. It was a very special day!

My wonderful friend Jessica and her hubbie Andrew brought us a "Congratulations" gift before we all went out on Saturday night. Andrew picked out a book for baby McLain and Jessica gave me a beautiful Pregnancy Journal. We are so blessed by their friendship.

Our big announcement!

We told my parents by giving them this picture frame. They were totally shocked! They kept saying, "Are you serious?" "You are really pregnant?" My mom was jumping up and down and you know my Dad, he had tears in his eyes. They are super excited and can not quit talking about it.

Our family of 4 will soon be 5!

What a surprise! God's plan is sometimes different than ours. We are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby! Saturday, January 24th is the day we found out. We were quite stunned to say the least. The news has settled in and now we are growing more excited each day. Check out how old our baby is at:
