This weekend we took Merit to see his first movie on the big screen. It was a pretty popular idea being Labor Day weekend. We chose Madagascar 3 because it seemed age appropriate and we had heard from other parents that it was safe. I brought some healthy caramel popcorn with me and Daddy stood in line for some unhealthy candy and a drink. He just couldn't resist a little treat or two. Merit sat in my lap for most of the movie and also sat in Daddy's lap for a bit too. He brought Snuggie and his dinosaur blanket. We were so very proud of our little guy. He sat still and paid attention through the entire movie. It is safe to say that he thoroughly enjoyed this experience!
