Aunt Alicia made delicious Black Bottom Cupcakes for Mimi when she visited her in Houston. So, Mimi brought home a couple for us to enjoy. Merit thoroughly enjoyed every bite of these cupcakes. I have such great memories of eating these as a child. My mom made them quite frequently for us. I don't have my mom's recipe but I found this one that looks basically the same. Yummy!
