Merit has really been looking forward to his first trip to see the dentist. I went in for a cleaning last week and he asked several times to go with me. I took this first picture when he was waiting for the hygienist to come in.
She called the teeth cleaning instrument, Mr. Tickles. Merit loved touching it!
She called the vacuum instrument, Mr. Thirsty.
He was telling Mommy to try it out too.
He really liked touching his fingers and hands with Mr. Thirsty.

You can tell by his face that he didn't like this part too much.
All finished with the cleaning and waiting for the doctor to come back in.
He really liked the big, bright light they used to see his teeth better.
He was waiting for the x-rays to begin. However, they didn't happen. The apparatus was too big and made him gag. He really didn't like that part at all!
