After our morning walk we took some time to stop and smell the flowers, literally. We have the most beautiful wildflowers growing around our house. The area is a designated state wildflower area where there are signs stating the area is not to be mowed during specific times of the year. The sign does not say you are not allowed to pick them. So, sometimes we take a few home so we can enjoy them inside our house. The colors are beautiful! Merit had so much fun looking at them and running along side of them. The wildflower area stretches for about a mile or so. What a great way to end our walk!
