Merit enjoying the bread sticks

J.P. went to watch Dusty play baseball and Mom and I took Merit to one of our old favorites. Have you ever been to Pietro's in Dallas? It is fabulous! The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is scrumptious. Pietro opened the restaurant in 1960. They converted an old home into the restaurant. My parents used to go there when they were dating. http://www.pietrositalian.com/ If you've never been you must go soon! Pietro was there and when he saw us he gave my mom a big hug. He and wife still live above the restaurant today. Merit definitely enjoyed the lasagna, homemade bread and the bread sticks. After dinner we stopped and treated ourselves to frozen yogurt. What a great night!
