Our journey began October 2005 when we met in our Single's class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We were engaged in June 2006 and were married on November 17, 2006. JP works for ROMCO as a Product Support Sales Manager and I will begin teaching part-time for the Dallas International School in August 2011. We have one little boy, Merit Cross. God has truly blessed our family.

Cottonwood Park

We spent Monday early morning walking, feeding the ducks, admiring the wild flowers and playing on the playground. Merit thinks the ducks are so cute and we love to give them our old bread, biscuits, hamburger buns, and anything else we have that we are not using. :)

The ducks were ready and waiting for us to feed them!

This little squirrel wanted in on the action too! He was relentless and would not leave us alone.

Merit enjoyed playing on the playground.

He calls this the "yellow playground".
