On Friday night we were playing in the yard. Merit has started pretending that he is going to work. He comes over to me and tells me, "Mommy, I'm going to work now." So, he pushes his dump truck all around the yard and then proceeds to put sticks, leaves, and all sorts of items in the back of the truck. A bit later he comes to me, "Mommy, I'm done with work and home now." I tell him, well, if you are home from work then I need a big hug and kiss. He smiles so big and complies. Love, love, love! I then asked him about his dump truck and work and he tells me that his dump truck in interesting. Interesting! He is learning new words every day! I say this word quite often and now Merit is using it too! Love watching his vocabulary expand! What a smart boy.

- Our journey began October 2005 when we met in our Single's class at Prestonwood Baptist Church. We were engaged in June 2006 and were married on November 17, 2006. JP works for ROMCO as a Product Support Sales Manager and I will begin teaching part-time for the Dallas International School in August 2011. We have one little boy, Merit Cross. God has truly blessed our family.
