As part of Papa's birthday celebration we took him to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison. Have you ever been? It is amazing! They have 5 hangers full of beautiful aircraft. http://www.cavanaughflightmuseum.com/
We started the morning by going to get donuts; one for Merit, one for Papa and a few donut holes for all of us. Of course Merit picked out one with sprinkles. :) After breakfast, we set out for the museum. Merit was pretty mesmerized by the huge aircraft and Papa absolutely loved it! One of the staff members actually let the three of us climb aboard one of the fighter planes when he found out that Papa used to fly a plane just like it. What a treat! We made some very special memories.
