Merit loves to paint and he had so much fun with this little art project. I used new kitchen sponges to make shamrocks and a little flower too. I think we will use the flower for a spring art project in April. I drew the shamrocks on the sponge using black sharpie then cut them out. We used washable poster paint in green and yellow. Merit went to town dipping and stamping. We ended up with two pretty pieces of art for our March artwork collection. The second piece we used a pretty blueish green paint along with the green and yellow. I hung that piece in my kitchen breakfast area. He was very proud of his work. I framed the piece while he napped and then showed it to him when he woke up. He smiled so big and immediately said, "Daddy, come see, come see my picture." What fun!
