Spring Craft: Pretty Rainbows

Do you have any coffee filters around the house? This is a fun and easy craft for toddlers. All you need is coffee filters, markers and a spray bottle filled with water. I cut the filter in half and then cut a little out of the center to make it the shape of the rainbow. We read a book about a cat that finds a rainbow and talked about what colors make up a rainbow. I opened the book up to the picture of the rainbow and left that on the table so Merit could see it while he colored. After you color the filter hold it over the sink and give it a few sprays of water. The colors will run together and drip off. Lay the filter on construction paper or a towel and let dry. We glued ours onto pretty blue paper. Check out the finished product!
